Thank you for visiting our web page. We are Bruce, Laura, Peter, and Emma Edgar. We arrived on the field in Nicaragua on January 18, 2007. Bruce is currently serving as the Director of Centro ABEM, the ABWE Ministry Center just outside of Managua. Prior to this time we lived in Lakeland, FL where we taught at Lakeland Christian School, ministered in various ways as a part of the body of Heritage Baptist Church, and volunteered at Camp Gilead in Polk City, FL for more than a decade. We have been on various short term missions trips to Ecuador, Russia, and Nicaragua.
We were introduced to the ministry of ABWE in Nicaragua through Larry and Bev Smith, veteran missionaries with ABWE, and are thrilled that the Lord has brought us to the place of joining the Nicaragua Team of now 6 families. In addition to facilitating ministries at the Center, we are involved in Sunday School teacher training and the Institute of Church Planters.
